THEATER CILEA

MUNICIPAL VILLA


An area of about one hectare between Corso Garibaldi and Lungomare Falcomatà, represents one of the green lungs of the city of Reggio Calabria which also has important artistic elements inside, such as bronze busts and marble of the patriots and, above all, the monumental neoclassical Portal of Casa Vitrioli from the 16th century.

SCILLA


Small tourist town located on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria; it takes its name from the sea monster of Greek mythology. PENTEDATTILO


Small village located on the Ionian coast of the province of Reggio Calabria which takes its name from the shape of the rock on which it lies, Monte Calvario: a gigantic hand with five fingers (from the Greek pente (πέντε), or five and dactilo (δάκτυλο), that is finger ). Right under this mountain the Castle was built first, and then all around the ancient village, surrounded by an extraordinary natural landscape, a destination for hikers and tourists from all over the world. The abandoned village has long been known as the most evocative ghost town of the Calabrian coast. Today, the stone houses adorned with sunburned prickly pears have become lodgings for widespread hospitality: the wood, ceramics, glass workshop, the Museum of popular traditions, just to name a few. In the summer months there are also many events related to music, theater, photography.
